Short presentationPrice porcelain is the heir of Capodimonte’s school. The handcrafts created by Prince study are based in the contribution of its 3 famous founders: the sculptor Luciano Cazzola, the mold creator Lino Gobbi and the painter Sergio Traforetti, which provides soft and warm colors that fills the figure with the details.
Creation processCapodimonte’s porcelain is made in Italy, Napoli. Each Capodimonte porcelain figure borns from an artisan’s idea that draws the figure design and creates a clay figure based on it. Afterwards, the artisan will take molds of the clay figure and poor liquid porcelain in the molds. When porcelain is dry, the artisan bakes it at 1250 degrees and sculpts the last details. At this point, an artista pints the porcelain figure.
