Short introduction to our selection
Our porcelain figures selection have been handmade by experienced artisans. In general, a famous artist creates an art study, whom has artisans and artists that produce and sign their exclusive fine porcelain figures.
Creation process of porcelain figures
Each art studio has its own and complex handcraft process which makes it distinct from others, but there are common steps. In general, an artist designs on paper the figure. An artisan creates a clay figures inspired in the given design, providing it with the details that will be seen in the final figure.
Afterwards, the artisan takes molds of each part of the the clay figure, and pours liquid porcelain in them. When the consistency of the porcelain is adecuate, molds are retired and the artisan will paste the pieces with liquid procelain, polish and sculpt it. To finish, the figure is baked and an artist paints the figure to fill it of details
